About the position
the sales representative will be accountable for managing a portfolio of customer accounts in the veterinary sector to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand visibility.
main responsibilities:
* build and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase sales, volume, and market share.
* ensure effective coverage and execution of business strategies to drive revenue growth, volume, and brand awareness.
* promote and merchandise pet food and services, implementing targeted programs to enhance customer engagement.
* provide educational sessions to customers on the economic and nutritional value of pet diets and products.
* contribute to animal well-being by driving endorsement of our products.
* develop customized strategies and joint plans to achieve results based on customer analysis.
* leverage commercial and professional programs to drive product experience, awareness, and sales growth.
* launch new products and detail them to clinic staff to increase in-store presence and market leadership.
* perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
required skills and qualifications:
* bachelor's degree completed.
* valid driver's license.
* at least 2 years of sales or commercial experience, or experience in vet hospitals (animal health).
* excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
* strong selling skills, ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals.
* excellent time management, planning, and budget-handling skills.
* aim to grow and build a territory and have a passion for animals.
* good analytical skills and basic understanding of business terminology.
