*primary function*:
responsible for inventory accounting controls and procedures across the juarez manufacturing network.
*duties and responsibilities*:
- work cross functionally with the inventory, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure all inventory transactions are recorded accurately and timely to both the perpetual system and general ledger
- review and approve inventory invoices to ensure accurate coding and compliance with 3-way match
- prepare and record all inventory related journal entries as part of the month end close process
- work with local teams to implement processes to measure inventory yield and scrap performance on key inventory categories such as fabric, leather, raw steel, and plywood.
- monitor and investigate material price and quantity variances and provide leadership with recommendations to minimize variances.
- prepare and report on key performance indicators to optimal balance of inventory turns and service levels.
- prepare monthly book to perpetual inventory reconciliations and assist in the execution of physical inventory counts across the juarez manufacturing network.
- identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve inventory accuracy and financial controls
- collaborates with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities.

*education and experience required*:
- bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 2-3 years’ professional experience in accounting and/or finance
- experience in manufacturing
