hello community! We are looking for our next supplier quality engineer!
what profile are we looking for?
- minimum 2 years' experience as sqe
with experience in:
* necessary experience in the automotive sector
* internal auditor certified in the iatf 16949 standard (desirable)
* core tools (pfmea, msa, control plan, spc, ppap, apqp)
main responsibilities:
* review and evaluate suppliers' technical documentation to ensure compliance with general specifications.
* audit and qualify suppliers according to established criteria, including negotiation and interaction skills.
* develop and maintain procedures and processes to ensure compliance with iatf 16949 and other relevant standards.
* communicate in a timely manner non-conformity notices to suppliers in the event of problems detected in the different stages of the production process.
* analyze and report supplier performance, identifying areas of continuous improvement.
* supervise and provide training to the receipt inspection technician in the instructions and activities applicable to the position.
* manage suppliers' ppap requirements and/or first sample reports.
* create and maintain updated area documentation and reports.
* prepare the necessary reports for the evaluation of parts for special tests.
* keep the area indicators updated, assigning corrective and/or improvement actions.
* send feedback to suppliers on quality performance (iq).
* supervise compliance with the raw material quality assurance process (receipt inspection).
* issue casting imds (brembo part number) and finished product part numbers to clients.
* obtain authorization from suppliers to return rejected material.
* collaborate with other team members in the qualification, sampling and final approval of parts.
