we are currently looking for an editor (studio system)
*responsibilities*
- acquire and record correct information regarding us tv/film programs from a variety of sources including but not limited to studios, distributors and press releases.
- edit and maintain program information, create and curate information on movies and shows.
- investigate, confirm and document questionable program content by consulting program information providers and internal teams.
- consolidate data content and new program information in databases.
- maintain accurate database information and provide timely updating of programming information.
- analyze, develop and recommend solutions to editorial, communication and technical procedural and operational needs.
- act as a customer service representative concerning product content and editorial policies.
- other duties as assigned.
*requirements*:
- must have impeccable english writing and verbal skills.
- effective writing, grammatical, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- preferably with a background in journalism, copywriting, or translation.
- extensive knowledge of television, film and streaming programming is required.
- we are looking for a quality-focused individual with a high level of attention to detail.
- must be able to work accurately under deadlines and willing to work outside regular business hours.
- windows proficiency and/or experience using other computer software and databases with excellent keyboarding skills.
- excellent keyboarding skills expected.
- must live in the mexico city surrounding area with the ability to commute to the office for orientation & onboarding.

- must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long periods of time - 6-8 hours per day
- must be able to type on a keyboard and use a mouse for long periods of time - 6-8 hours per day
- must be able to visually absorb data via a computer monitor for up to 6-8 hours per day
- must be an active participant in team meetings so as to provide feedback
- must be able to collaborate with remote peers daily
- must be able to respond in a timely manner to internal/external communications
- must be able to work independently with excellent communication and time management skills
