requisitos
* licenciatura, carrera terminada
* familiaridad con herramientas de control de versiones, como git
* conocimiento de los principios de desarrollo de software, incluyendo metodologías de desarrollo ágil, técnicas de programación y estándares de cifrado de datos
* familiaridad con las tecnologías y herramientas utilizadas en el desarrollo de software, como motores relacionales y no relacionales
* comprender los principios de diseño de arquitectura de software, incluyendo arquitecturas de microservicios, arquitecturas orientadas a servicios (soa), patrones de arquitectura
* habilidades para planificar, estimar, seguimiento y controlar proyectos de desarrollo de software
* conciencia de las mejores prácticas de seguridad de la información y la capacidad para integrar consideraciones de seguridad en el ciclo de vida del desarrollo de software
* ser capaz de gestionar eficazmente el tiempo y los recursos del equipo para cumplir con los plazos y objetivos del proyecto

about the role / typical accountabilities
* 3 - 5 years of experience
* curious mind, good interpersonal skills, and excellent technical skills in the area of dba admin
* strong oracle database administration experience
* strong in rac concepts
* good in data restore/recovery techniques
* experience in performance tuning
* experience of managing multiple rdbms on large systems
* experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service
* experience in database migrations (on premises to cloud, oracle to postgresql & oracle 10,11 to 18c)
* practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
* good knowledge on operating systems (win/unix/linux)
* knowledge on oracle oem monitoring
* good to have pl/sql knowledge
* good to have cloud transformation experience
* knowledge on open-source database (mongodb, mysql & postgresql) required
* knowledge on aws databases like redshift, dynamodb & aurora
* scripting knowledge would be an added advantage
* itil knowledge is a must
education, qualifications, and experience
* essential
o bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years operational experience in database administration
o experience in managing incidents, problems, changes and capacity management aspects
o demonstrated ability handling incidents, changes & service requests
o flexibility to work in shifts on rotational basis covering americas, emea and asiapac regions 24*7
o an ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential
o a self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience and a desire for professional excellence
o itil foundation certified
o oracle certified master certified
