supply planning manager responsible for customer service improvement (cfr, sambc), end‑to‑end supply chain optimization, inventory transformation, operating strategies, data integrity, forecasting and collaboration with innovation and brand teams within the lac region.
Key responsibilities
drive the supply planning process and inventory performance to leading levels.
Deliver optimal supply network plans to meet customer service targets and partner with markets to meet agreed business targets.
Represent supply planning in the ibp process, balancing demand and supply signals to ensure strategy and annual targets can be met.
Identify potential supply disruptions, risks and opportunities, implement changes and communicate effectively to key partners.
Collaborate with global categories leaders, procurement, vendors, demand planning and ibp business partners to deliver market requirements.
Develop category‑region operating strategy and service level agreements covering supply and inventory strategies.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly supply and product availability reporting and risk assessments.
Lead the 3‑year inventory transformation journey with a continuous improvement approach.
Drive standardization and automation of systems, ensuring alignment to global standards.
Conduct root‑cause analysis of multiple information streams and maintain master data in sap ecc, apo or omp.
Provide direction and prioritisation for the team, coach, mentor and develop team members, and achieve best‑in‑class engagement and performance scores.

skills and capabilities
expertise with supply‑chain optimisation platforms (erp, master data, time‑phased replenishment), preferred sap apo/omp.
Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes (drp, mps, inventory, conversion, logistics, customer service).
Excellent influencing, partner engagement, and negotiation skills.
Ability to challenge senior partners and handle tension in demand/supply and ibp discussions.
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in ms office (excel, word, powerpoint, access, outlook).
Experience
+5 years of supply planning (production and distribution) in cpg companies.
+3 years of leading an effective planning team.
Experience managing a multicultural team, preferably in latin america.
Experience with advanced planning software (sap apo/omp).
Experience implementing central planning functions across an organisation.
Qualifications
degree in supply chain, engineering, business or related field.
Proficiency in english and spanish; portuguese a plus.
