ford champs allows participants to explore different business areas over 12 to 24 months while improving their skills and becoming better professionals.
qualifications:
* active student from any of the last 4 semesters of engineering
* 90% english skills (oral, reading, writing, and listening)
* excellent teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills.

responsibilities:
the plant vehicle team (pvt) ford champs are part of ford motor company's north american engineering organization and are co-located in the vehicle assembly plant with the vehicle production team. The pvt champ supports pvt engineers as the 'first line of defense' regarding functional system quality for products produced at the assembly plant, supporting quality and manufacturing issues follow-up and analysis.
what you'll do:
* support preproduction meetings and follow up on aims.
* support tvm activities (ecn, trials, issue clean-up).
* support plant issues, process walk support.
* lead gsar warranty binning and analysis (contact dealers, interface with fcsd), part return reviews.
* assist with qnps/gqrs and jdp binning when requested; follow up with dealers on recontacts and claims.
* support plant ftt improvements, leading production/ie and vome (none).
* chair and support variability reduction team (vrt) meetings at the plant.
* support six sigma project development and coordinate plant input on issues requiring deep dive analysis for resolution.
