An international company in the technical and industrial sector is establishing a new administrative center in querétaro, strategically located near its existing laboratory to ensure close collaboration and operational efficiency.

this leadership role will be responsible for setting up and managing the administrative center, overseeing a multi-functional team, and ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective support across key business functions. This is a strategic assignment with an estimated duration of two years, including responsibility for succession planning to ensure long-term continuity.
requirements
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field.
* proven experience in administrative operations, procurement, and team leadership.
* strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* proficiency in microsoft office; experience with erp systems is an advantage.
* ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
* fluency in english and spanish is required.
* knowledge of mexican labor laws and regulatory compliance is preferred.
* experience in kpi development, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
key responsibilities
* center setup & leadership: establish the administrative center, including process design, documentation, workflows, and organizational structure. Collaborate with u.s.-based teams to define interfaces, inputs/outputs, kpis, and escalation processes.
* team management: lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of a multi-functional team. Set objectives and conduct regular evaluations.
* procurement / purchasing: manage supplier communication, support procurement activities through erp systems, track instruments and materials, and evaluate supplier performance.
* quality control: implement and oversee quality checks for certificates in line with internal and customer standards. Analyze recurring issues and provide performance insights.
* it support: act as liaison for it-related matters, including infrastructure coordination, troubleshooting, and system deployments. Support validation processes for system developments.
* pricing: ensure accurate processing of instrument lists for quotations, coordinate with technical teams to clarify specifications, and support pricing analysis based on system data and standard price lists.
* performance management: define kpis related to processing time and output quality. Develop dashboards, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* operational oversight: ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks, optimize workload distribution, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
* reporting: prepare and present operational and performance reports to senior management.
* compliance: ensure adherence to company policies and mexican labor and regulatory requirements.
* stakeholder management: serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, particularly teams in the united states.
