the job will provide the opportunity to contribute to cloud environment setup, including hardware design and configuration specification, debug, validation, and optimization.
as well as to engage with the latest hardware systems and technologies within the cluster systems under test.
this position requires a broad understanding of multiple system areas and necessitates interfacing with architecture, design, and other validation teams.
you are expected to understand the full solution - top-to-bottom that includes hw, fw and layers of sw - to effectively root cause issues and collaborate with cross-functional hw, fw and sw team to solve complex issues.
*responsibilities include but are not limited to*:
- enable and define possible i/o configurations to be used in at scale validation.
- drive i/o pcie or cxl issues to resolution, by interacting with development teams and define solutions.
- identify defects status and represent them in system debug forums.
- engaging with various internal cross-team validation organizations.
- perform platform level debug and to provide guidance in resolution.
- be a role model for the organization and junior engineers.
*qualifications*:* minimum qualifications,*
you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- 2+ years of domain expertise in pcie or cxl protocol and architecture.
- 2+ years of experience in system validation.
- 2+ years of experience of pc architecture knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience working with hardware and/or software development debugging.
- 1+ year of experience working with linux os.
- advanced english level.
- must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in mexico.
*preferred qualifications,*
- any other high speed io understanding is an added advantage.
- kubernetes/containers knowledge is a plus.
- bash, c and/or python scripting.
- digital and analog electronics device knowledge.
