Resident quality engineer
company: lear corporation – tier 1 automotive supplier
location: aguas calientes, torreón 1 plant.
responsibilities
* direct contact with the customer.
* quickly and effectively report any issues found with the customer.
* coordinate with the plant’s quality engineer on corrective actions and follow‑up.
* monitor the status of customer‑reported concerns until their closure is ensured.
* verify customer systems to ensure all reported issues have been addressed.
* coordinate defect analysis and customer response meetings in collaboration with the plant quality engineer.
* generate quality performance reports based on customer metrics and scorecards.
* follow up on activities related to iatf 16949, iso 14001, iso 9001, and internal & external audits.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in automotive industries (wire harness experience).
* proficient with microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, word, etc.).
* strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
