job description
main tasks
* manage and control the day-to-day activities for an assigned shift within a production plant
* lead, direct and coordinate a team of employees within the area of responsibility (but not disciplinary)
* manage and control if the production activities are in line with the production plan and deadlines
* ensure that the product quality is in compliance with the technical and quality standards as well as the customer requirements
* support the rps/8d process in collaboration with the production manager and the production supervisor to ensure that the quality standards are met, participate in the rps discussions/meetings
* ensure the quality approval of the products by the quality inspectors/supervisors and implement corrective actions in case of deviations, control if the corrective measures are effectively applied
* implement, coordinate and control the accuracy, cleanliness and the order of the production area/activities
* ensure that the machines and technical equipment are properly used and maintained
* manage/execute the total productive maintenance (tpm) process, control for loss and/or damages of the machines and equipment, ensure the repair/maintenance service
* ensure that the machine capacities are optimally planned and used as well as the technical reliability of the machines, equipment and tools
* coordinate and control the set-up processes in accordance with the pre-defined schedule
* provide, manage and update all documentation as regards the production activities and facilities
* manage the plant and machine safety, ensure that all safety requirements, sustainability issues and legal regulations are fulfilled
* ensure and maintain of all records as per iso / ts / ems standards

educación
* nivel técnico (mecánico, eléctrico, etc.) ó ingeniería (industrial, mecatrónica, etc.)
experiencia
* tres años de experiencia preferentemente en la industria automotriz desempeñando actividades similares
