.job description*position summary*:the turnaround planner develops and coordinates detailed maintenance and repair plans for plant turnarounds, ensuring mínimal downtime and efficient operations while upholding safety and quality standards.
*key responsibilities*:- * turnaround planning*:develop and execute comprehensive turnaround plans.
identify scope, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.- * scheduling and execution*:prepare and monitor detailed schedules for maintenance and repair activities during shutdowns and outages.- * collaboration*:work closely with engineering, operations, and contractor teams to ensure seamless planning and execution.- * safety and compliance*:uphold and enforce all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, ensuring a "zero is achievable" safety culture.- * documentation*:maintain accurate and thorough records of all activities, including planning packages, schedules, and post-turnaround documentation.
*qualifications*:- bachelor's degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field.- 3+ years' experience in electrical package planning or equivalent.- 5+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering disciplines, preferably with industrial outages and electrical systems.- proficient in software tools including microsoft office suite (excel, word, powerpoint, onenote, outlook), sap, primavera p6, and adobe.- strong ability to read and interpret technical documents such as electrical & instrumentation drawings, p&ids, and boms.

*primary responsibilities*:- manage detailed maintenance shutdowns and daily work planning.- organize and expedite materials procurement and ensure parts availability.- develop scopes of work and detailed planning activities in p6.- create and distribute planning packages per company standards.- provide daily schedule updates during outages and ensure tasks are completed timely.- lead post-turnaround reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future planning.
