job description
as a jr./mid python software engineer, you would be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing micro-services related to software monitoring, enhancing spectrum-net automation through software development best practices, maintaining nifi pipelines, and participating in day-to-day team code reviews.
responsibilities
* develop and maintain new or existing python base micro-services.
* develop and design unit tests for new and existing code.
* participate in code reviews.
* create documentation for new or existing micro-services.
* work with kibana, elasticsearch, prometheus & grafana to integrate internal spectrum effect monitoring features.
* automate repeated data management tasks to reduce toil.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
* proficiency in python.
* basic git versioning knowledge.
* familiarity or interest in learning about kibana and elasticsearch or other monitoring tools.
* basic linux shell and command line experience.
* nice to have aws cloud experience.
* nice to have kubernetes experience.
* nice to have docker experience.
