role purpose
the role of an accounts payable analyst is to provide financial and administrative support for the organization.
responsibilities
the accounts payable analyst is responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices/credit memos related to accounts payables. They verify invoices and reconcile statements to keep track of any missing invoices and credits owed, and not yet received. The accounts payable clerk produces accurate, timely, and valuable work. They must pay attention to detail and be able to analyse discrepancies, so that they are resolved in a timely manner. The accounts payable clerk work hand in hand with the receiving and supply chain teams to ensure timely resolution of receiving discrepancies
