About the position.
the main function is to supervise the execution in accordance with mrp demand and guarantee and ensure material is available with the right stock, right transport mode, right time in order to support production plans.
activities
oversee the procurement process to ensure it aligns with mrp requirements.
maintain raw material inventory levels within the agreed targets.
promptly report any issues to the procurement manager.
attend to daily sap alerts and notify the team in advance about potential or actual raw material shortages, ensuring coordination for expedited deliveries from suppliers to the production line.
oversee that procurement planners send weekly releases and confirm they are properly transmitted to suppliers.
monitor procurement planners to ensure suppliers follow transportation routing instructions and that any premium freight costs are minimized when they arise.
requirements
professional degree or technical education plus 5 years' experience in equivalent role
experience in automotive industry
experience dealing with suppliers.
sap /erp system knowledge
lean manufacturing basic

strong communication skills
