delivery station manager jr is responsible for supporting the last mile operations within a delivery station. The role manages a team of over 20 hourly associates, overseeing safety metrics, attrition, payroll, shifts, vacations, overtime, and key operational metrics such as delivery efficiency, number of routes, and cost per shipment. Additionally, this role supports procurement of tools, services, and consumables for the station.

the delivery shift manager jr is expected to coach and mentor the team to meet performance objectives, foster positive employee relations, and build organizational bench strength. The role involves continuous improvement of delivery processes and promoting a culture of customer obsession, safety, and best practices. It also involves collaboration with internal teams such as project teams for launching new stations and designing delivery models.

* engage in process mapping activities.
* assist in developing, documenting, deploying, and monitoring key business processes for amzl mexico.
* monitor kpis within the delivery station.
* support organizational change initiatives.
* conduct in-depth analysis of kpis.
* support customer service and other operational goals.
* measure driver performance, discipline, and customer experience.
* execute internal audits.
* participate in quality initiatives and process changes to achieve continuous improvement.
* implement changes and develop new processes to enhance service and reduce costs.
* develop and maintain delivery station workflows and metrics according to standard procedures.
minimum requirements:
* high school diploma or equivalent.
* availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
* basic english (a2 level).
* at least 2 years of previous experience.
* over 1 year of experience as a people manager.
preferred qualifications:
* bachelor's degree completed.
* advanced english proficiency.
* knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
