Job description:
we are seeking a skilled electrical and automation engineer to support manufacturing execution systems (mes) and contribute to enhancing business objectives, product quality, and plant performance.
the role involves ensuring that mes-e&a activities align with corporate guidelines, prioritizing safety, product safety, and environmental standards.
you will be responsible for supporting capital investments from planning to implementation, ensuring technical soundness, cost-effectiveness, and resource alignment.
key responsibilities:
1. support and monitor capital investments from planning to implementation.
2. ensure process and equipment safety for personnel, products, and the environment.
3. manage changes to solutions and ensure compliance with mes-e&a legislation and standards.
4. support mes-e&a engineers in mastering processes and products to support innovation, renovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. monitor mes-e&a impact on factory efficiency and performance.
required skills and qualifications:
* minimum 2 years in automation or mes engineering with electrical experience.
* experience supervising technical teams, contractors, or third parties.
* participation in engineering projects across multiple disciplines, including electrical and automation technologies.
* experience with equipment start-up and production line commissioning.
* self-management skills with clear kpis/objectives and proactive tracking.
* exposure to tpm, preventive maintenance, or maintenance execution is a plus.
