*key responsibilities:* lead and mentor a global team of sqes through coaching, prioritization, and structured performance management.
* serve as the global leader for north america and asia suppliers, while managing a team of sqe's.
* manage quality escalations, audits, ppap/fai reviews, and corrective actions.
* drive supplier performance improvement through metrics review (ppm, otd, scar response, defect trends).
* develop and maintain supplier scorecards, facilitate reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
* ensure supplier compliance with omnion power specifications, iso *, industry standards, and customer requirements.
* participate in sourcing decisions and provide input on supplier readiness and process robustness.
* initiate scars and lead structured problem-solving activities for supplier-related quality issues using 5-why, fishbone, 8d, or other methodologies and verify effectiveness of corrective/preventative actions.
* identify, assess, and mitigate supplier quality risks impacting production or new product launches.
* partner with sourcing, engineering, and operations to align supplier capabilities with business requirements.
* support design and process changes through supplier validation.
* establishing or scaling sqe processes in a global organization.
* ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory documentation requirements.

## minimum qualifications:* bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related technical field.
* 5+ years of supplier quality engineering, quality management, or manufacturing engineering experience.
* 3+ years in leadership, preferably managing global/remote teams.
* strong understanding of manufacturing processes (electronics, pcba, electromechanical assemblies, power conversion, or power racks).
* experience with root cause analysis and supplier corrective actions.
* strong communication skills across cultures and time zones.
## ## preferred qualifications:* experience working with suppliers in north america, china, and/or asia.
* prior sqe leadership in electronics or industrial manufacturing.
* experience with iso *, iatf * a plus, ipc, or similar standards.
* six sigma black belt certification.
* experience establishing or scaling sqe processes in a global organization.
