Job description:the robotics sales manager & strategic account representative is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for robotics and digital solutions (rds) across mexico this hybrid role combines tactical sales execution with strategic account management, focusing on high-value enterprise clients in sectors such as agricultural equipment, yellow goods, automotive, and heavy manufacturing.key objectives include developing and implementing sales strategies, managing complex client relationships, and delivering tailored robotic workflow solutions to major end users—including john deere, polaris, flexngate, autotec, and others—in collaboration with regional partners and integrators. The role requires a consultative approach, deep industry expertise, and the ability to coordinate internal resources to meet complex client needs.
Primary responsibilitiessales strategy & executiondevelop and execute sales plans using value selling, microsoft dynamics, and power bi to achieve revenue targets.promote and support robotics offerings, indusuit, and other rds products (edge, tbi, hks, ewm, etc.) across mexicodefine list pricing for software and digital solutions in nam.manage the sales pipeline and leverage technical knowledge to support decision-making.strategic account managementmanage and grow relationships with high-value enterprise clients across key sectors. (john deer and others like john deer)drive share of wallet and deliver tailored robotic workflow solutions to large end users.collaborate with qualified regional partners and integrators to ensure successful solution delivery.apply a consultative approach to understand client needs and align solutions accordingly.customer engagement & supportcoordinate / conduct demos and installations with technical teams across product lines.create positive customer interactions by addressing needs, resolving concerns, and analyzing feedback.engage in value-selling proposals to enhance or update software solutions.track and improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals; map the customer journey to identify improvement areas.collaboration & innovationwork with global teams to improve customer service, communicate feature requests, and incorporate market insights.analyze data to identify consumer trends, define and maintain retrofit solution roadmaps, manage upgrades, and drive innovation through project and aftermarket sales.lead and manage special projects as assigned.
Qualificationsbachelor's degree in business management or related field.minimum of 2 years of experience in robotics sales and product support; experience in strategic account management preferred.proven track record in sales within robotics or technology sectors.strong understanding of robotics technology, workflow solutions, and industry trends.ability to build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients.skilled in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels internally and externally.proficient in microsoft project, microsoft office suite (word, excel, sharepoint), and dynamics.strong analytical skills for sales data and market trends.problem-solving ability to address customer needs and sales challenges.
Working conditionsstationary work approximately 50% of the time may involve physical activity such as walking, stooping, and standing.ppe required when working in or visiting manufacturing and plant locations.frequent use of computers and office equipment.ability to move or handle equipment up to 50 lbs.; push/pull products up to 200 lbs. using safety tools.exposure to varying weather conditions during travel.domestic travel required approximately 65%.
