Procurement Analyst – IT Category
Location: Mexico
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
* Procurement Operations: Supporting Procure-to-Pay activities:
* Vender selection and set-up
* Purchase requisition/Purchase Order management
* Invoice processing/dispute management
* Contract management (Master Agreements, SOWs, NDAs, etc.)
* Become proficient in using multiple tools (e.g. Coupa, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)
* Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations on procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
* Research/Inquiries: Staying informed about market trends and supplier developments to inform procurement decisions, and performing detective work on miscellaneous procurement matters to solve problems
* Compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies
* Project Management: Supporting the extended global procurement team in overall management systems (meetings and administration, storing files in repositories, key performance indicators, supplier performance management, RFP/RFQ/RFI, Service tickets, ad hoc purchases, preparing charts, leverage AI to innovate)
* Strategic Procurement Category & Vendor Relationship Management: Supporting:
* Development, execution and implementation of Strategic projects/initiatives
* Propose and define categories strategies – identify opportunities working close to the sites/entities
* Partner and build positive relationships, representing Procurement across cross-functional business teams.
* Manage relationships with suppliers / introduce new providers / consolidate spend / create global-regional providers
* Establish credibility and engage and influence others to ensure the most effective and efficient solutions are implemented
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
* Excellent written and spoken English communication skills to collaborate with a global team
* Demonstrated project management and analytics skills
* Commercial business acumen (understand how a busiess makes money, what drives its success, and how to make decisions that contribute to growth)
* Ability to learn sourcing and negotiating with suppliers/service providers and delivering value add
* Ability to work with global stakeholders in different regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC)
* Ability to grow in expertise in the IT indirect procurement category, including IT-related applications, infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, data center, etc..
