for the customer center of the ias (industrial assembly solutions) division in mexico, we are looking to welcome a* project engineer (m/f/d) *with residence in monterrey, to further strengthen our project management team.
we are market leaders in advanced adhesive dispensing, self-piercing riveting and flow-drill fastening solutions and are a stretegic partner for our clients in the aumotive and electronics manufacturing industry.
*your responsibilities*:
- administration of projects of the ias customer center in mexico and technical support to the sales engineers, service engineers and internal as well as external customers.
- management of all projects that have to be installed in mexico.
- coordinate internal and external resources externos to assure delivery of projects in time and form.
- development and evaluation of local and external providers.
- guarantee always the required profit margin of all projects according to the defined targets.
- design in-field activities that help to reach the sales targets for the different ias technologies.
- develop and mantain contacts with product companies of ias abroad.
- participate in definition, change of processes, procedures and attainment of objectives.
- generate correct documentation of projects to facilitate the project management for the client and for ias during its life cycle.
- frequent travel to customer sites in assigned zone.
*your background*:
- minimum of two years of project management experience in the automotive industry
- university degree in industrial, mechanical, electronic or mechatronic engineering
- mastery of sap, ms project or workfront, ms office
- strong english language skills (spoken and written)
- knowledge of assembly systems and industrial manufacturing processes
