responsibilities
* provide first‑aid treatment to injured employees and triage to appropriate medical providers.
* maintain records of all treatments given to associates.
* manage the amcare room, including supplies inventory, restocking, and equipment maintenance.
* train managers and associates on first‑aid procedures.
* provide daily activity logs and monthly incident analysis to the leadership team.
* attend and speak at stand‑up meetings to discuss health and safety topics.
* implement and monitor a site wellness program and proactively analyze tasks for potential safety issues.
* support the occupational health prevention program and respond to medical emergency cases on site.
* report to the whs manager and work with site teams to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* rotate shifts on a non‑remote basis.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree as medical doctor (médico cirujano) or in nursing (licenciatura en enfermería).
* valid cpr and first‑aid certification, including aed; willingness to obtain certification within four weeks if not already held.
* proficiency in microsoft office.
* basic knowledge of imss forms and administrative documentation.
* ability to communicate effectively in both spanish and english.
preferred qualifications
* certification to teach first aid, cpr, and aed.
* prior experience with workers' compensation.
* experience leading and managing a team in a healthcare or emergency setting.
* knowledge of veeva or similar crm platforms for visit planning and reporting.
additional information
the omr role requires on‑site presence with rotational shifts and is not a remote position. The candidate must be willing to work in one of the specified locations within the guadalajara metro area.
