summary
maximize growth of quectel latam market share in odm and ems services lines through a dedicated focus on market analysis, winning new verticals/customers focused on these product lines, and supporting and pushing rsms to add these lines to their actual customer base.
primary responsibilities of segment sales manager
* understand the needs and expectations of the customers and provide relevant solutions.
* handle the funnel accounts list and hunt it;
* follow up on accounts designs on its service lines on the regional funnel.
* train our sales force and rep firms/distributors on service lines, and follow up on the opportunities.
* work with the internal product team to collaborate on projects;
* create monthly latam discussion report regarding leads, technical evaluations, meeting plans, roadmap calls, etc.
* initiate/schedule roadmap meetings
* operate salesforce crm (customer relationship management) systems and ensure authentic information is available within the company
* visit exhibitor booth tradeshows to identify accounts and products that use cellular modules and obtain contact information.
educational and skill requirements
* experience: minimum of 5 years in sales positions in the iot segment
* communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills in spanish and english.
* customer-centric: demonstrated ability to understand and align solutions with customer business goals.
* educational background: bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronic engineering, computer, automation, electronics & communication, or other it-related fields
