We are looking for our nextproduct development & applications specialistwho will lead and drive the following: responsible for executing product formulations and supporting innovation initiatives from laboratory development through pilot plant validation and industrial scale-up. This role ensures technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, product consistency, and successful commercialization of new and reformulated products.key responsibilities execute formulations, reformulations, and product trials for new food and beverage products in laboratory and pilot plant environments. Prepare and handle ingredients, additives, and raw materials in accordance with technical specifications and established protocols. Support prototype development from conceptual stage through technical and industrial validation. Conduct basic physical, chemical, and sensory analyses (ph, °brix, viscosity, stability, etc.). Accurately record, analyze, and document trial results, formulation adjustments, and sensory evaluations. Collaborate cross-functionally with r&d, quality, production, regulatory affairs, and procurement to ensure technical viability and compliance. Ensure adherence to gmp, food safety, and quality standards. Maintain laboratory and pilot plant organization, cleanliness, and proper equipment functionality. Participate in pilot trials, scale-up activities, and industrial production runs. Provide technical support during validations, production start-ups, and plant troubleshooting activities.project objectives drive innovation and line extensions within sweeteners and new product categories. Ensure technical optimization of formulations, including flavor matching initiatives. Develop and maintain a technical ingredient database, including nutritional information, to enable accurate and efficient nutritional labeling calculations while reducing development timelines and ensuring regulatory compliance. Coordinate technical application of new ingredients, evaluating stability, intensity, matrix interaction, and process performance to ensure product quality and consistency. Provide technical support in the qualification and validation of potential co-manufacturers, ensuring proper technology transfer, compliance with quality standards, and efficient execution of production processes to support successful product launches and operational continuity.required knowledge & experience minimum 5 years of progressive experience in product development, applications, or related technical roles is required. Experience leading technical projects or providing guidance within cross-functional teams is highly desirable. Principles of food and beverage formulation (liquid and/or solid products). Experience handling functional ingredients, flavors, sweeteners, colorants, and stabilizers. Solid understanding of food and beverage processing operations (mixing, dissolution, homogenization, liquid processing, sugar-free product systems, etc.). Ability to interpret technical data sheets, specifications, and testing protocols. Strong working knowledge of food safety and quality regulations (gmp, haccp – preferred). Experience in food and beverage manufacturing processes and scale-up from laboratory to plant, including pilot trials and line start-ups. Understanding of production capacity evaluation, documentation control, and critical process and quality parameters (cpp/cqa).skills & competencies. Strong attention to detail and precision in execution. Problem-solving skills during plant start-ups and process adjustments. Solid organizational and technical documentation skills.
