the logistics manager partners with supply chain functional managers to enforce standards. This role will provide feedback on best practices to functional managers. The logistics manager is responsible for assuring planning, order fulfillment, production planning, and procurement planning teams execute respective processes efficiently and accurately.
the logistics manager leads the management of inventory levels, on-time receipt of raw materials, warehousing and distribution of raw materials, warehousing of finished goods, and on-time delivery of customer orders. They monitor related measurables and drive improvement activities. The logistics manager coordinates monthly siop to ensure new products are launched in a timely and cost-effective manner.
this role requires a strong understanding of erp, mrp, and mps systems. Experience with sap s/4hana or sap fiori is a plus. Familiarity with excel, sql, or data visualization tools is also beneficial. A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or business is required. Proficiency in english and spanish (bilingual preferred) is highly valued.
