job purpose
manage supply chain project(s) of varying complexity and size within assigned teams. Collaborate with other teams to improve end-to-end product delivery processes, ensuring quality standards and production costs are met.
main responsibilities:
strategy design and execution
* contribute to designing the supply chain strategy by advising management on project feasibility.
* prepare business cases, project plans, and coordinate their execution upon approval.
* report to managers.
project management
* apply project management practices following givaudan's six-sigma methodology (dmaic). Use ppm tools for project tracking.
* engage with internal and external customers to understand supply chain requirements, develop solutions, and demonstrate value.
* create and manage project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical paths, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality.
* utilize technical knowledge to resolve complex issues and implement solutions.
* monitor deadlines, costs, and resources to mitigate risks.
* build relationships with team members regarding project status and requirements.
* manage project budgets effectively.
people management
* provide direction to project teams.
* participate in hr processes by providing performance feedback.
* collaborate with line managers and hr to develop project management capabilities within the supply chain & planning functions.
* support the development and promotion of talent within and outside the function.
academic background
bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations management, or related field. Project management certification is required.
professional experience
* 4 to 7 years in supply chain, with experience in process redesign and systems implementation projects.
* up to 2 years in people management.
technical skills
* proficiency in project management methodologies (tpm, kpi, six sigma, lean manufacturing) and control tools.
* strong partner management and communication skills.
* knowledge of ehs regulations and financial concepts (opex, capex) and tools (sap).
* advanced proficiency in english and spanish.
