We’re looking for a high-ownership senior accountant to manage end-to-end accounting across multiple high-growth startups. This role goes beyond routine bookkeeping — you’ll be responsible for cleaning, structuring, and owning financial data so it can power better decisions and scalable workflows.
what you’ll do
* own end-to-end accounting operations across ~10 high-growth startups (seed to series b)
* manage and maintain books (primarily quickbooks online) with high accuracy and consistency
* lead cleanup and standardization of financial data for new clients — turning messy books into reliable systems
* ensure financial data is structured to power automation and ai-driven workflows
* drive monthly close, reconciliations, and reporting with a strong focus on quality
* collaborate closely with internal teams and occasionally engage with clients
* execute with precision while maintaining a strategic lens on how data supports business decisions
what we’re looking for
must-haves
* 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with startups (seed to series b)
* strong hands‑on experience with quickbooks online (qbo)
* proven ability to clean up and structure messy financial data
* high ownership, reliability, and attention to detail
* ability to balance hands‑on execution with a broader business perspective
* strong communication skills (comfortable with client interactions)

* experience working with or updating financial models / statements
* curiosity about how financial data is used by founders and operators to make decisions
* ability to think like a pseudo data analyst, not just an accountant
* experience working in remote, global teams
