Procurement manager job description
we are seeking a skilled procurement manager to lead our indirect category management team. This role will involve developing strong cross-functional relationships, communicating effectively across all levels of the organization, and positively influencing stakeholders.
key responsibilities:
* develop and implement comprehensive category strategies, including strategic sourcing and process improvement programs.
* lead the development, implementation, and alignment of category management and sourcing strategies to achieve broad business objectives.
* influence and manage stakeholders, understanding their needs, aligning procurement and business objectives, and planning/executing effective communications.
required skills and qualifications:
* 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in it hardware, software, and ai tech.
* expert level negotiating skills, with the ability to identify win-win solutions in complex situations.
* proactive approach to stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization.
