Opportunity description
our private equity client is looking for a professional in the food and beverage manufacturing industry with deep ceo/c- level operational experience and expertise, to help with due diligence and take a senior role (most likely as ceo or executive chairman) in a potential new acquisition to be found in collaboration with the executive.
this position will be remote, with some traveling required until the acquisition target is found and finalized, and then may require relocation depending on the circumstances and ultimate org chart position of the executive in any new portfolio company.
please note: our pe clients are control group buyers of businesses, not passive investors nor vcs. They value companies based on a multiple of ttm ebitda. They do not invest in startups nor early-stage companies. They also do not buy companies based on multiples of top-line nor do they have expectations for “unicorn” type growth that vcs typically do.

qualifications
* must have deep ceo and/or c-level operational experience with full p&l responsibility, specifically in the food & beverage manufacturing industry (10+ years)
* must have a history of full p&l responsibility of at least $100mm
* must have high eq and leadership skills
* must be willing to stay on post-acquisition in a leadership role
* prefer prior private equity portfolio company experience at the c-level
* from our experience, executives who think like potential business owners are the most likely to be successful in this program
