The mxl you manager is responsible for developing and managing mxl you, an internal employee initiative that enhances opportunities for employees in four key areas: cares, connect, wellness, and learn, as well as overseeing the company's social and community service efforts.
this role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that support employee engagement, development, and social responsibility.
*essential duties and responsibilities.

- assessing community needs: conduct research and gather insights to determine social service and community engagement opportunities that align with mexilink's values and employee interests.
- planning and implementing social service programs: develop and execute initiatives that promote corporate social responsibility and encourage employee participation in community service.
- overseeing staff: lead a team of volunteers or assigned personnel to execute mxl you programs effectively.
- managing budgets: allocate and oversee the financial resources dedicated to mxl you programs, ensuring cost-effective implementation.
- coordinating outreach efforts: foster relationships with local communities, non-profit organizations, and corporate partners to enhance social impact initiatives.
- fundraising (if needed): identify and secure sponsorships, grants, or fundraising opportunities to support program initiatives.
- establishing partnerships with other organizations: build strategic alliances with external organizations to support and expand mxl you programs.
- designing and implementing mxl you programs: develop and roll out initiatives under the four pillars (cares, connect, wellness, and learn) to enhance employee engagement and growth.
- analyzing employee needs: conduct surveys and feedback sessions to determine employees' interests and needs for professional growth, social connections, and well-being.
- coordinating mxl you events: organize and execute events, workshops, and activities that align with mxl you's mission and objectives.
- communicating program details to employees: ensure effective communication about initiatives through various internal channels such as newsletters, meetings, and digital platforms.
- monitoring program effectiveness: track program impact through key performance indicators (kpis) and employee feedback to measure success and areas for improvement.
- collaborating with various stakeholders: work closely with hr, leadership, and employees to ensure the success and sustainability of mxl you initiatives.
*qualifications*.
- bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, social work, organizational development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, or community relations.
- strong project management and organizational skills.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- experience in event planning and budget management.
- passion for employee development, community service, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- bilingual (english/spanish) is a must.
- preferred qualifications:_
- experience in corporate social responsibility (csr) or volunteer management.
- background in wellness, learning & development, or community outreach programs.
