* plan and execute internal audits across latin america.
* assess risks, internal controls, and operational processes.
* identify gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen controls.
* conduct compliance‑focused reviews and high‑risk investigations when required.
* prepare and present audit findings to senior management.
* coordinate with global internal audit, compliance, risk, and plant controllers.
* support regional consistency, standardization, and audit best practices.
* operate independently with accountability for audit objectives and outcomes.
the successful applicant
a successful internal audit manager should have
* advanced english, bilingual professional.
* minimum 3+ years of internal or operational audit experience in manufacturing.
* at least 15 years of professional experience.
* proven exposure to senior stakeholders at local and global levels.
* experience in in‑house roles (not only consulting or audit firms).
* strong integrity, autonomy, and ownership as an individual contributor.
