key responsibilities:

* identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and drive revenue growth.
* proactively reach out to prospective institutional clients and foster partnerships.
* stay up-to-date with global financial markets, macroeconomic trends, central bank policies, and geopolitical events that impact currency markets.
* offer market insights to clients and position products effectively.
* provide clients with a range of products and understand and communicate the advantages and risks of these products to clients.
* work closely with internal teams such as trading, risk, and research to deliver optimal solutions and address client needs.
* collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
* provide clients with regular updates, trade ideas, and analysis on the market, including technical and fundamental insights.
* prepare internal reports on client activity, market conditions, and business performance.
* ensure all business development activities are compliant with internal policies, industry regulations, and relevant market rules.
* work closely with the compliance team to ensure all trade and client interactions meet legal and regulatory standards.

required skills and qualifications:

* 5+ years of sales experience in financial markets or prior sales experience with a keen interest in financial markets and trading platforms must be evidenced.
* a degree in finance, economics, business, or related fields.
* fluency in english and spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus.
* relevant certifications are a plus.
* strong understanding of the financial market and trading products.
* exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
* ability to analyze market trends and provide actionable insights.
* proficient in using trading platforms, market analysis tools, and crm systems.
* strong negotiation and closing skills.
