about the role
as product data manager within skf vehicle aftermarket (va) business, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality product data and best-in-class catalogs that support our business objectives and reinforce our reputation as the premier brand in the industry. Your work will directly enable sales growth and customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate, timely, and accessible product information across all platforms.
being part of our product information management (pim) team, you will collaborate globally and closely with product line management, data engineering & analytics, sales teams, and external partners to maintain and evolve our pim solution. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in data quality, system efficiency, and customer experience.
responsibilities:
* catalog & data management: develop and manage schedules for data updates and catalog releases.
* data integrity & distribution: ensure the accuracy of product and application data, cleaning conflicts and overlaps, distribute it to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner and in compliance with industry standards (such as aaia autocare aces-pies).
* cross-functional collaboration: strengthen collaboration between product managers and the data team to align on priorities and improvements. Coordinate with the marketing and e-commerce team to align product launches.
* customer & vendor liaison: act as the primary contact for catalog and product data-related matters with customers, data receiver audits, and pim & cataloguing system vendors.
* stakeholder support: provide data extracts and insights from our pim system (stibo step system) to support internal teams and customer needs.
* receive, research, and respond to internal and external team concerns regarding catalog applications. Ensure through regular audits that product descriptions and images are accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
* market intelligence: maintain a competitive intelligence database and stay informed on industry trends to enhance our catalog offerings, securing our cataloguing toolchain compliant with latest industry standards.
* project management: maintain accurate project schedules and status reports to ensure timely delivery of all catalog and data initiatives.
* process optimization: drive automation and intelligent data quality processes to improve operational efficiency.
requirements:
* 5–7 years of experience in catalog data management, ideally in the automotive or commercial vehicle aftermarket.
* strong knowledge of autocare aces & pies and napa standards and experience delivering data to customers in these formats.
* proficiency in mdm/pim/cataloguing systems, confident handling of o365 office & collaboration solutions.
* excellent communication and proofreading skills.
* strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* entrepreneurial and analytical mindset with a structured, customer-focused approach; fluent in english, with spanish or portuguese as a plus.
