Test engineer i (ur)
honeywell aerospace materials engineering (mateng) is seeking a test engineer intern. This position will be based at chihuahua, mexico facility to support both local manufacturing activities as well as global aero mateng activities. This is a challenging, multi-dimensional role that requires the individual to perform at a high level while working multiple concurrent task assignments.
The position will operate within a global mateng team, working in partnership with experienced materials engineers. The individual will function as a resource to perform daily test for production support in the two laboratories (chemical and metallographic) providing on time and accurate results to release manufacturing process, working with problems resolution and process improvement projects.
Employee main responsibility will include ensures that chemical/metallographic laboratory analysis are performed and documented according to aerospace quality and industry requirements, including quality audit activities and root cause and corrective actions implementation.
Activity breakdown:
daily test to validate production process.
Equipment verification and preventive maintenance.
Testing results report and communication with customer department.
Basic qualifications:
- student from bachelor’s degree in an engineering, materials science, chemistry
- availability to start on june 2025
- rfc (constancia de situacion fiscal)

- good oral and written communication, english language read-written.

- must be dedicated to customer satisfaction and demonstrated capability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers, customers and co-workers.
