*rosarito packaging company s. de r.l. de c.v.* a soon-to-be-established company in rosarito, baja california, is seeking to fill the following position in preparation for the launch of its startup operations.
to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in support of the company's daily operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies
and regulatory standards.
the bookkeeper plays a key role in processing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and supporting
financial visibility across departments, contributing to the operational and fiscal integrity of the manufacturing business.
- prepare and maintain reports related to taxes, budgets, income, and expenses using spreadsheets (excel) and/or accounting software.
- may prepare the trial balance under the supervision of the general accountant.
- update accounts receivable and schedule payments with suppliers.
- update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in accordance with legal and company accounting guidelines.
- support the review of expenses, payroll records, and other assigned tasks.
- update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and immediate availability when needed.
- prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
- assist the supervisor in preparing monthly and annual closings.
- support accounting projects as needed.
- promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- participate in account reconciliation and cash flow cycle management.
- promote and support programs related to the quality system, workplace hygiene and safety, internal work regulations, company values, and 5s methodology.
- perform other duties as assigned.
- responsible for promoting and maintaining product quality and safety.
- responsible for complying with good manufacturing practices (gmp) in the plant.
- responsible for reporting any risks or evidence of unsafe products to their supervisor or designated manager.
