Job title: item master team lead
this role oversees the creation, maintenance, and governance of item data across multiple systems.
key responsibilities:
* data governance & maintenance: ensure accurate setup of item attributes, maintain compliance with procurement enablement requirements, and oversee cleansing efforts to remove unused items.
* team leadership: lead and mentor team members responsible for item master domains, provide backup support when needed, and allocate tasks for data conversions, validations, and mock runs during system migrations.
* process & compliance: implement approval workflows for supplier code changes at item level, ensure category manager involvement, and lead price increase process sme.
* cross-functional collaboration: coordinate with procurement, finance, and it teams for integration projects, support enhancements related to moq and order multiplier validations.
* reporting & analysis: provide regular extracts and reports for data conversion, audits, and compliance checks, monitor duplicate records, and initiate enrichment activities to improve data quality scores.
