Media & production virtual assistant (television & entertainment industry)
we are seeking a proactive and highly organized media & production virtual assistant to provide day-to-day administrative and communication support to an executive in the television and entertainment industry. This role is ideal for someone familiar with how the tv landscape operates, especially in working with producers, talent, and content development, ensuring smooth behind-the-scenes operations.
key responsibilities:
1. manage calendars, including scheduling meetings, calls, and follow-ups with stakeholders (producers, agents, networks, etc.)
2. draft, proofread, and send professional email correspondence on behalf of the executive
3. track conversations and follow-up items, ensuring timely outreach
4. maintain organized notes and timelines across multiple projects
5. conduct industry-related research on trends, contacts, and upcoming content
6. help prioritize tasks and manage reminders for deadlines
7. liaise with entertainment professionals and production contacts as needed
8. maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
ideal candidate:
1. 2+ years of experience as a virtual assistant, executive assistant, or similar role
2. knowledge of the television/entertainment industry, including production cycles and industry roles
3. excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
5. proficiency with scheduling tools (google calendar, calendly), communication platforms (slack, zoom), and email management
6. self-motivated with a professional demeanor
7. discreet, reliable, and trustworthy with sensitive information
