*role overview*:
we are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a *data specialist* to join our dynamic data operations team in *mexico city*.
in this role, you will deliver high-quality, customised analysis to our automotive customers by extracting, researching, manipulating, analysing, and interpreting automotive data.
*key responsibilities*:
- ensure a steady flow of incoming raw data by liaising with external sources.
- review and input data into spreadsheets.
- research and load automotive data in jato's systems.
- collaborate with local researchers for insights and updates.
- coordinate with the production department to maintain data flow.
- work with the qa team to ensure data accuracy.
- log queries from manufacturers or dealerships to identify process improvements.
- monitor data quality and report anomalies for correction.
*key requirements*:
- at least one year experience in automotive industry (desired)
- experience of working in a multi-national environment (desired)
- advanced microsoft excel skills, e.g.
macros, pivot tables, advanced formula, vlookups, conditional formatting, etc.
- strong attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure high-quality data.
- self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- proficient in english (speaking, writing, and comprehension).
