Do you have a proven track record in planning and executing successful sales strategies within the energy and/or engineering industry? At deif, we are currently looking for a full-time sales engineer to generate new business opportunities in the land, as well as marine/offshore markets, and develop long-lasting relationships with clients across the monterrey area. We want to be the go-to partner for efficient power management, renowned for our intelligent platforms and smart solutions. About the job as our new sales engineer, you will lead the execution of a sales plan for your area across deif’s entire product line, focused on acquiring new clients as well as growing current accounts. You will be promoting and selling specialized technical solutions, providing advice to industrial and commercial clients, and acting as a liaison between the engineering team and the client, ensuring that the products and services offered meet technical and commercial requirements, as well as a great level of support. Working tasks & responsibilities developing new customers targeted by the company by introducing products, conducting demos/trials for approvals, and securing contracts/orders. Aligning individual (quarterly and annual) goals and contributions with the department goals, as well as the overall sales/growth strategy. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with electrical consultants and include deif’s products in their projects’ tenders. Managing and visiting existing customers, including original equipment manufacturers (oem) and switchboard manufacturers. Actively selling to new and existing customers all ranges of deif products including making “cold calls”. Participating in exhibitions and trade shows. Following price management processes and entering relevant leads/visits in crm. Focusing on process improvements and team collaboration with the operations, service & support teams. Understanding safety measures in line with our global safety policy. Identifying gaps and proactively suggest improvements. What you’ll bring bachelor’s degree in automation, electrical, or mechanical engineering. 5 years of successful experience in technical sales – power management and distribution is an advantage. Fluent in english – both written and speaking. Experience with end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. A hunter mentality, with high resilience and proactive approach. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build solid, long-lasting relationships. Knowledge of market and customers. Ability to travel as needed. Knowledge of applications and products. Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation skills. Experience working with crm systems. Team player with growth mindset. You are forward-thinking, and comfortable making decisions that will influence the future direction of our products. You enjoy collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders and thrive in an environment where your sales record and technical insights have a strategic impact.
