about the role
as a culinary operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This includes supervising cooks, coordinating activities, determining menu presentation, and creating visually appealing food displays.
you will also be responsible for monitoring food quantities, informing staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items, preparing special meals or substitutes, and assisting cooks with various tasks.
in addition, you will provide cooks with necessary resources, monitor kitchen supplies and food stock, maintain food safety logs, and ensure the quality of food items.
