about the role
strategic business unit car audio is looking for an experienced controller with a wide range of knowledge to support as a key financial analyst. The role will report to the car audio sbu controller. The tasks are to prepare analyses for regular reviews, support analytics, and track metrics that help improve the business. Continuous improvement is the main driving force and requires financial support.
what you will do
4. ensure preparation and completion of standard presentations for monthly management meetings
5. be proficient in business warehouse for reporting and analysis of revenue & cm
6. continuously partner with cross-functional departments to understand variance analysis and to obtain insight into future trends
7. research and implement process improvement initiatives with support from cross-functional teams eg, 3rd party brand license reporting)
8. assist with new business award validation within salesforce
9. review/monitor amplify measures
10. work with the product team to create or update ip fee business cases
11. ad hoc requests
what you need to be successful
12. an understanding of project-related accounting and gl p&l
13. experience in tracking measures
14. ability to clarify financial concepts towards a non-controlling audience
15. advanced excel knowledge
16. proven ability to interface and connect outside immediate function
17. sap and bw knowledge is preferred
bonus points if you have
18. experience with information warehouse systems (power-bi, tableau, qlik – report preparation side)
19. experience within harman finance and controlling
what makes you eligible
20. undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or other equivalent experience
21. 5+ years of relevant experience
22. proficient in english skills, written and spoken
23. be willing to work in a hybrid environment in an office in juarez or queretaro mexico.
