A Snapshot of Your Day

The Customer Service Representative spends the day supporting utility and industrial customers with spare parts needs, primarily for transformer-related services. The role involves frequent interaction with customers, purchasing, contract administration, and warehouse teams to resolve technical questions and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Daily work includes reviewing documentation, preparing quotes, and coordinating proposal activities. The environment is fast-paced, detail-driven, and focused on meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations. Collaboration and clear communication are essential throughout the day.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Support customers by troubleshooting technical issues and identifying correct replacement parts.
2. Coordinate proposal activities for Siemens Energy GT Service spare parts with a focus on transformers.
3. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate customer support.
4. Prepare and manage quote documentation covering technical, financial, and legal requirements.
5. Review and maintain technical documents such as maintenance reports, bills of materials, and drawings.
6. Ensure materials and services meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and customer specifications.

What You Bring

7. Associate’s degree with 6–9 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of experience in the electrical field.
8. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
10. Ability to manage multiple customer priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
11. Experience with SAP and Salesforce, or the ability to quickly learn enterprise systems.
12. Detail-oriented, flexible, and collaborative mindset with a strong professional work ethic.
