the mission
join the performance medicine team for cirque du soleil's premier resident show in mexico. Reporting to the head physiotherapist and artistic director, you will provide elite-level rehabilitative and emergency care to a world-class cast of artists in a high-intensity environment.
core responsibilities
* emergency medical response: provide immediate emergency care
* during rehearsals and performances, ensuring readiness and rapid
* response.
* clinical excellence: provide evaluations, diagnoses, and
* rehabilitation aligned with acrobatic performance demands.
* injury prevention: collaborate with coaches and the head
* physiotherapist to implement targeted injury prevention programs.
* interdisciplinary communication: act as a medical liaison for the
* artistic director and stage management.
* professionalism: maintain accurate medico-legal records and strict artist confidentiality while fostering professional relationships.
* operations: oversee daily department needs, ensuring organization and adequate medical and emergency supplies.
your unique expertise
* authorized to work in mexico.
* registered with professional license (cédula profesional)
* licensed physical therapist (titulo profesional)
* titulo in physiotherapy, physical therapy, or athletic therapy.
* cpr certified; emergency responder or emt certification preferred.
* minimum 4 years of experience with elite athletes or dancers.
* strong clinical, emergency response, and bilingual (english/spanish) communication skills
