responsibilities
* design and implement advanced automation solutions for various projects.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines.
* provide technical expertise in automation technologies and methodologies.
* oversee electronics assembly and test operations including ict, fct, with management and analysis of resulting data.
* manage manufacturing execution system operation and deployment (critical manufacturing, tulip, ignition, etc.).
* implement robotics in light assembly, such as screw shooting and pick-and-place applications.
* operate, program, maintain, and repair automated equipment.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
* minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering or related roles.
* strong knowledge of automation technologies and control systems.
* experience with programming languages such as plc, python, or similar.
* proficiency in automation tools and software, including scada and hmi systems.
* experience leading automation projects from conception to implementation.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* excellent english communication skills.
* travel availability of 25%-50%.
working familiarity with:
* minitab or similar statistical applications.
* accolade or similar project management applications.
* ecosys or similar capital management applications.
* sap or similar erp systems.
* autocad or similar cad/cam programs.
proficiency in the microsoft office suite is required.
