the answer ltd provides call center outsourcing, operations consulting, and performance analytics for a variety of clients across the u.s. We support organizations in several industries, including legal, healthcare, consumer services, and digital marketing. Because our work is fast-paced and data-heavy, we're looking for a business analyst who can help us stay on top of reporting, insights, and operational trends across multiple systems.this role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building clear reports, and helping leadership and clients make better decisions. Hours will vary weekly based on business needs.what you'll do
* pull and compile reports from five9, crm tools, gusto (hr & payroll), billing systems, and other internal platforms
* create weekly and monthly performance summaries (sales, call center, operations, hr)
* build and maintain dashboards (power bi preferred; google sheets acceptable)
* track kpis across call center operations: conversion, sph, dials, lead flow, agent performance, qa, attendance
* support hr and payroll reporting, including headcount changes, pto, onboarding/offboarding, and timekeeping
* assist with client reporting for multiple accounts (e.g., lido labs, glasser & glasser, american service pets, laguna gardens, concealed coalition)
* identify trends, risks, and opportunities and surface them proactively
* handle ad-hoc report requests quickly and accurately
* help document sops, workflows, and internal processes as needed
* communicate clearly and consistently, keeping projects moving with minimal supervision
what we're looking for
* experience as a reporting analyst, business analyst, workforce analyst, or similar
* strong excel/google sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, charts, formulas)
* experience working with five9 reporting is a major plus
* comfortable pulling data from hris platforms (gusto preferred)
* familiarity with crm or dialer systems (aloware, hubspot, ghl, etc.)
* power bi experience is strongly preferred (or willingness to learn quickly)
* excellent english writing skills — you'll prepare summaries for clients
* ability to work independently, move fast, and stay organized
* experience supporting u.s. companies or bpo/call center environments is a plus
hours & pay
* contract role
* flexible hours (5–25 hours per week depending on workload)
* pay: usd $15–$18 per hour depending on experience
* fully remote
