Your mission, roles and responsibilities
design, plan, carry out, and supervise the cutting operations of the materials used in cutting processes.
Optimize the use of cutting materials (cutting savings) and supply the required number of pieces on time according to quality standards.
Responsabilities
prepare cutting files according to customer requirements.
Seek the maximum utilization of cutting materials (yield).
Apply continuous improvement based on productivity and oee reports.
Provide the necessary information and visual aids for production.
Create and update the sheets of necessary parameters for cutting.
Control cutting files during engineering changes.
Design files that optimize production and material consumption.
Creation and management of spare parts (covers).
Promote process improvement through the generation of improvement ideas.
Seek best practices with other covers plants and make them transversal.
Profile
education: electronic, industrial, textile engineering, and related careers
intermediate-advanced english
experience in: (2 years) or internal development.
Layout and automatic cutting processes of materials on cnc machines.
In automotive industry companies (preferably).
Competences
required technical skills:
interpretation of blueprints.
Operation of automatic cutting equipment (cnc).
Digitization of tracing and cutting.
Cutting software such as lectra (formaris/diamino), gerber (accumark and accunest), and optitex.
Knowledge of iso14001/2015 standard.
Knowledge in vda.
Quality system (iatf 16949).
Handling of autocad.
Operation of different models of lectra cutting machines (mh8, mx9, ix9, and ip6).
Setup of lectra machine parameters for pattern quality and optimal use of the cutting equipment.
