job purpose
the business intelligence analyst manages key account activities and provides data-driven insights to support our sales department.
this individual acts as an advisor and key liaison between our company and customers, utilizing a project management/sales planning system that integrates agile and classic methodologies.
the role involves analyzing customer data, ensuring data integrity, and supporting sales strategies with a global mindset.
developing effective relationships and credibility at multiple levels, both internally and externally, is critical to success.
your responsibilities
* act as a liaison between our company and key customer accounts, addressing their needs and strengthening relationships.
* analyze sales, customer, and project-related data to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
* ensure data integrity (% accuracy) and maintain high-quality records, collaborating with internal teams to validate data across systems.
* support on-time invoicing and reduce past dues through accurate data handling.
* utilize a project management system that integrates agile and classic methodologies to manage hybrid projects effectively.
* collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders across company boundaries.
* integrate data with erp, crm, or plm systems to support sales processes.
* identify areas for margin improvement and highlight needs for contract renegotiation based on data analysis.
* travel may be required domestically.
profile
* bachelor's degree in business, finance, data analytics, engineering, or a related field, with 2+ years of equivalent experience.
* intermediate proficiency in ms office (especially excel) for data analysis and reporting.
* experience with power-bi and sap is preferred for managing sales, finance, and customer data.
* prior experience working with automotive oems and suppliers is highly valued.
* understanding of general financial concepts (e.g., margins, cost calculations, contract terms).
* ability to grasp technical concepts (e.g., how automotive components function) after training.
* strong, efficient, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects.
