purpose: the field clinical support specialist, portfolio transformation mexico, will work with clinicians in specific specialties, supporting the transformation of the surgery portfolio in mexico. This role will ensure safe and effective product outcomes, minimize impact for surgeons, and facilitate adoption of substitute products. It will closely collaborate with fso and marketing teams in both direct and indirect channels.
principal responsibilities:
* clinical experience: observe surgical procedures in critical specialties (gynecology & obstetrics, dermatology, pediatrics, general surgery) to understand product use and ensure a safe transition of specific skus.
* retention support: execute loss‐volume reduction plans focused on specific territories.
* education & promotion: provide education to physicians about product discontinuation and potential alternatives.
* multifunctional collaboration: collaborate with fso, marketing, and kam teams to carry out discontinuation activities and client communications.
* field execution: act as a clinical resource in private/indirect segments to mitigate volume loss and support distributor engagement.
qualifications & requirements:
* minimum education: university degree required. Recommended degrees: medical assistant, specialist nurse, nurse, dentist, veterinarian.
* related experience: over 3 years of professional experience in a clinical health environment, specifically in the operating room or medical devices.
* knowledge, skills and abilities: deep knowledge of medtech industry and hospital systems in mexico; deep knowledge of surgical products and their use in the operating room; deep knowledge of specialties and subspecialties – preferably gynecology, obstetrics, general surgery, pediatrics; exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, communication and presentation.
