the fp&a sr coordinator supports the css finance team by ensuring strong budget visibility, accurate tracking, and disciplined management of expenses within the assigned scope. The role is an individual contributor position, designed to support and enable the team that leads the process, while owning day‑to‑day execution, open items, and resolution of operational issues.

the role requires autonomy and accountability for deliverables in scope, with a strong focus on data accuracy, follow‑up, and timely resolution of budget-related topics, while operating under the guidance of senior budget management.

this role is critical to ensuring reliable budget visibility and disciplined execution. It requires strong accountability, autonomy, and ownership of deliverables within scope, supporting the broader finance team in effective budget management and decision‑making

responsibilities

the opportunity

key accountabilities

1. own day‑to‑day budget tracking and monitoring for the assigned css scope, among others, covering opex and compensation & benefits.
2. ensure end‑to‑end visibility of budget execution by maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date tracking of actuals, forecasts, and open items.
3. support aop, forecast, and actuals cycles by preparing inputs, templates, and uploads in tm1.
4. consolidate financial data and perform variance analysis versus aop, fcst, and prior year, highlighting deviations and follow‑up actions.
5. own the resolution of open operational items within scope, including billing issues, manual postings, reallocations, and corrections, coordinating with relevant stakeholders as needed.
6. prepare regular budget tracking views, dashboards, and supporting materials for finance leads and budget owners.
7. act as a point of contact for budget-related questions within scope, ensuring clarity, traceability, and closure of pending topics.
8. apply accounting policies and standardized expense classification consistently, escalating exceptions when required.
9. support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, simplification, and data quality enhancements.

11. support team managing a financial scope of approximately usd 100mm.
12. individual contributor role with no direct or matrix reports.
13. operates with a high degree of autonomy within a clearly defined scope, under the direction of senior budget manager.

key stakeholders & interactions

14. css finance leadership: budget tracking, issue resolution, and performance visibility.
15. budget managers and budgeteers: coordination on planning, tracking, and closure of open items.
16. financial reporting teams: alignment between sap actuals, manual postings, and management reporting.
17. global and regional finance teams: support on chargebacks, corrections, and data consistency.
qualifications

18. bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
19. experience supporting budget processes and resolving operational finance issues
20. hands‑on experience with sap, excel, and microsoft office tools
21. intermediate english
22. strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
23. ability to manage and close multiple open items in parallel
24. solid analytical skills with focus on accuracy and consistency
