an account manager
will be the main point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships. This position works closely with the sales director to support customers' regional and global strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
responsibilities
* act as the primary point of contact between the oem and the company.
* manage long-term customer relationships.
* receive and share information on new projects.
* receive and share information on changes to current projects.
* work together with the lpm overseeing the project cycle: rfq → nomination → development & launch → sop → aftermarket parts.
* collaborate with engineering, quality, logistics, finance, and operations to meet customer requirements.
* lead the rfq process.
* negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to ensure alignment with company objectives.
* negotiate price adjustments for indexed materials.
* prepare the sales forecast and update campfire.
* share customer feedback with the organization.
* maintain sales kpis (account growth, margins, customer satisfaction, new projects).
education
* bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering (mechanical, industrial), or related fields.
experience
* 2+ years in sales and negotiations.
* knowledge of processes in the automotive industry (ppap, apqp).
* financial and commercial analysis.
